1. Purpose and scope
This DMCA Copyright Policy explains how VirtuAmerica LLC (“VirtuAmerica,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) receives and responds to copyright notices, counter-notices, repeat-infringer issues, and content-removal requests involving VirtuAmerica websites, vaMicrosites services, customer-managed pages, hosted Customer Content, and related services.
Human-assisted hours, support, and consulting references on this page are limited to customer websites, microsites, and use of vaMicrosites. They are not sold as standalone consulting, coaching, general IT or device repair, or unrelated professional services.
This policy is intended to support copyright compliance under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act and similar notice-and-removal processes. It is not legal advice. If you are unsure whether material infringes your rights, consult a qualified attorney before sending a notice or counter-notice.

VirtuAmerica’s designated agent is registered with the United States Copyright Office under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2), DMCA registration number DMCA-1073001. The current registration can be verified through the Copyright Office’s public DMCA Designated Agent Directory.
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to the agent above. Please include all information required by Section 3 or Section 4 so we can evaluate the request.
3. Copyright infringement notices
To submit a copyright notice, include enough information for us to identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, and the location of that material. A complete notice should include: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent; identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it; your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address; a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law; and a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
We may reject or request clarification for incomplete notices. We respond expeditiously to valid notices by removing or disabling access to material where required, notifying the affected customer or account holder, forwarding the notice, preserving relevant records, or taking other appropriate action.
4. Counter-notices
If you believe material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent listed above. A complete counter-notice should include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification; your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which VirtuAmerica may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person’s agent.
After receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward a copy of the counter-notice to the original complaining party. Unless the complaining party notifies us within 10 to 14 business days that it has filed a court action seeking to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the material, subject to law, provider requirements, customer agreements, and platform risk controls. The 10 to 14 business-day window mirrors 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2)(C).
5. Repeat infringer policy
We adopt and reasonably implement a repeat-infringer policy that provides for termination or restriction, in appropriate circumstances, of accounts, pages, customer content, or services for users or customers who are repeat infringers or who repeatedly submit infringing, unlawful, or rights-violating material. We may also suspend access where a single infringement claim creates significant legal, provider, payment, or platform risk.
We also accommodate and do not interfere with standard technical measures used by copyright owners to identify or protect copyrighted works where required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
6. Misrepresentations
Submitting false, misleading, or bad-faith copyright notices or counter-notices may create legal liability. Notices and counter-notices should be sent only by rights owners, authorized agents, or affected users with a good-faith basis for the request.
7. Customer content and provider coordination
When a notice relates to Customer Content, customer-managed pages, or a third-party integration, we may forward the notice to the customer, hosting provider, payment provider, domain provider, or other relevant service provider. Customers remain responsible for the legality of Customer Content and for obtaining rights to materials they publish or ask us to publish.
This copyright policy does not replace non-copyright safety or privacy-removal processes. Requests involving non-consensual intimate images, covered synthetic intimate content, child sexual abuse material, threats, harassment, privacy violations, or other non-copyright safety concerns may be sent to legal@virtuamerica.com. Where the TAKE IT DOWN Act or similar law applies, we may remove or disable access to reported content and known identical copies within the legally required timeframe, including 48 hours where required.
8. Privacy and records
Copyright notices, counter-notices, and other rights or safety-removal requests may contain personal data. We use that information to review, process, document, forward, and defend removal requests, and we may disclose it to affected customers, service providers, legal advisers, courts, authorities, complaining parties, or affected individuals as needed. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
9. Translations
We may provide translations of this DMCA Copyright Policy for convenience and international customer clarity. The English version controls to the maximum extent permitted by law if a translation conflicts with the English version, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in copyright law, agent contact details, provider requirements, or business practices. Copyright questions can be sent to legal@virtuamerica.com or mailed to VirtuAmerica LLC, Attn: Copyright Agent, 7533 S Center View Ct #8067, West Jordan, UT 84084.
